Ordinary rifts can open after 75 seconds and before 28:00, with 30-second eligible checks and increasing chances. Enter within 45 seconds, win the 120-second arena and use the Bond to fuse moves. At 30:00 the separate Judgment encounter begins.

28 minutes and the Judgment at 30

New rifts stop at 28:00. At 30:00, Arceus takes the run into the Ruins of Judgment. Arceus is invincible; dodge its warnings and contact instead of trying to kill it. A current rift arena can delay the transition until you return.

During the fight, legendaries join at 5-second intervals and each successive one doubles the previous HP and damage scale. These Judgment enemies give XP but no coins, tickets or held items. Ordinary enemies, random events and new rifts stop. Finish ordinary rift rewards and Bonds before 28:00.

The October 12 version used extra-time scaling after 60 minutes. The October 13 Judgment update removed that rule. The older formula remains in the dated update history; it is not the current long-run model.

What to do

  • Inspect weather and target type before entering.
  • Plan the fusion after a successful return.

Numbers & conditions

After >75 seconds: 30-second eligible checks, escalating chance 20–100%; entrance TTL 45 seconds; arena limit 120 seconds. Unbeaten legend selection weight is 4 versus 1 for beaten.

Common mistakes

Time spent blocked by a boss or arena is not a failed eligible check. A successful probability roll can still fail placement, and no new rift opens from 28:00 even with four previous misses.
