For Mewtwo choose Kanto, where the 5★ pool has six members. Before pity, a normal draw has 1.5% × 1/6 = 0.25% Mewtwo chance; a forced 5★ still gives only 1/6 for Mewtwo. Each of the nine regions keeps its own pity counter. Banner artwork does not add an unlisted rate boost. The 0.25% and 1/6 figures describe base member selection before collection-dependent shiny rerouting, not a universal final target or new-ownership chance.

Base selection versus the final result

The 0.25% and 1/6 figures describe base member selection before collection-dependent shiny rerouting, not a universal final target or new-ownership chance.

A draw plan for a named target

  • Open the target’s Pokémon page, choose its region in the game’s gacha and confirm it is in that region’s actual rarity pool.
  • Read that region’s current pity. Choose one ordinary ticket per single draw, ten ordinary tickets for a batch, or one ×10 ticket.
  • Check missing normal/shiny collection separately before using collection-aware calculations. A repeat normal refunds 15/30/60/120/300 coins by rarity.

An empty rarity pool changes the effective result

An empty pool falls back to the nearest nonempty rarity, checking lower first at an equal distance. Use the banner’s displayed member list and calculator, rather than dividing every region’s 1.5% by Kanto’s six members. Forced rarity and a specific Pokémon remain different events.
